NBC Cancels The Event and Law & Order: Los Angeles

No sooner have we gotten the good news that Chuck and Parenthood have been renewed than we get the bad news: NBC has canceled The Event and Law & Order: Los Angeles. Both shows are in their first season and have suffered from low ratings; that said, there's a glimmer of hope for sci-fi series The Event. Apparently, there's a chance the show could get picked up by another outlet — possibly an unconventional one like Netflix — so The Event fans may not be left without answers after all.

UPDATE: Outsourced has also been canceled.

So, so, so disappointed. I was really enjoying the event! :( Parenthood on the other hand is a bore, just another dysfunctional family show.
