The stars of Nurse Jackie [1] were probably ecstatic when the show received an early renewal back in March, but they must be decidedly less happy today. In a picture from Showtime's Twitter account [2], Edie Falco and her costars announced that the show will be ending after season seven, airing next year. The medical drama has won several Emmys, including one for Merritt Wever, whose 2013 acceptance speech was particularly memorable [3]. Are you sad to hear the series is coming to an end?
