Yes, the Oscars [1] are all about the movies, but there's so much music to be celebrated too! The Academy has confirmed that, as usual, all of the nominated songs [2] will be performed . . . but there's a catch. The songs that La La Land has been nominated for — "Audition" and "City of Stars" — won't be sung by Emma Stone [3] or Ryan Gosling [4]. While Stone sings this song in the movie, John Legend [8] is performing it at the Oscars.

Legend will take the stage again for "City of Stars," one of the tunes Gosling sings in the movie.
