Yes, the Oscars [1] are all about the movies, but there's so much music to be celebrated too! The Academy has confirmed that, as usual, all of the nominated songs [2] will be performed . . . but there's a catch. The songs that La La Land has been nominated for — "Audition" and "City of Stars" — won't be sung by Emma Stone [3] or Ryan Gosling [4]. They'll have a worthy replacement, but it's still a bit of a letdown. Before the big show on Feb. 26, listen to all the nominated songs and find out who will be singing them!
"How Far I’ll Go"
Lin-Manuel Miranda [6] and Auli'i Cravalho are performing the track, from Moana.
"The Empty Chair"
Sting will be on hand to sing his nominated song from Jim: The James Foley Story.
"Can't Stop the Feeling"
Justin Timberlake [7] will take the stage to sing his catchy track from Trolls>
"Audition"
While Stone sings this song in the movie, John Legend [8] is performing it at the Oscars.
"City of Stars"
Legend will take the stage again for "City of Stars," one of the tunes Gosling sings in the movie.
