Sandra Bullock [1]'s Fall drama Our Brand Is Crisis has her playing a political fixer tasked to help a South American politician win his campaign, but it's Bullock's campaign for an Oscar you'll be thinking about. As Jane Bodine, Bullock is a steely firebrand devoted to her job and extremely competitive (here, she's going up against Billy Bob Thornton [2]), but she also starts to recognize the importance in her work in terms of the country she's working in. The movie is based on a documentary of the same name and is also produced by George Clooney [3]. The film, which comes out on Oct. 30 but starts screening at Toronto's film festival this week, is just one of this Fall's movies [4] we're looking forward to.
