The first full-length trailer for Patriots Day [1] is here, and we already have chills. Based on the Boston Marathon bombing in 2013, the film centers on police sergeant Tommy Saunders (Mark Wahlberg [2]) in the events leading up to and following the devastating attack. As investigators attempt to track down the bombers, the clip showcases the powerful story of a community coming together in the midst of chaos. The movie also stars Michelle Monaghan, J.K. Simmons, John Goodman, and Kevin Bacon [3] and is scheduled for a limited release on Dec. 21 and a wide release on Jan. 13, 2017.
