When I was a kid, Ramona Quimby, Age 8 was one of my most cherished novels. I loved all of the books in the Beverly Cleary series (even the ones about Henry), but Ramona's elementary school trials and tribulations will always hold a place in my heart. That said, it doesn't look like this week's release, Ramona and Beezus will be a direct adaption of any of the book series, but it still could be a fun trip down memory lane.
Selena Gomez plays big sister Beezus, with John Corbett and Bridget Moynahan rounding out the family as Mr. and Mrs. Quimby. Ginnifer Goodwin and Josh Duhamel also add to a decent cast, but at the end of the day it's still a kids' movie. What's your stance on the film?
