It's hard to keep count of how many Power Rangers iterations there have been over the years, but it's safe to say the latest one, Power/Rangers, is a lot different than the others. It's a fan-made short film that features a much darker side of the rangers. There's violence, swearing, and James Van Der Beek [1] as the villain. He's captured the pink ranger (Katee Sackhoff), and we get to see what happens to the other rangers after their group disbands. It's really crazy, and it's incredibly well produced.
