If you think Raw is just another horror flick, think again. It's a coming-of-age story hidden within disturbing cannibalistic violence, which was reportedly so visceral it made multiple people pass out at the Toronto International Film Festival [1] back in September. The graphic French film is directed by Julia Ducournau and follows the smart-but-socially-awkward Justine (Garance Marillier), who has just enrolled in veterinary school. Squeezed in between all the sex, partying, and hazing is a whole lot of carnage, which will no doubt make it one of 2017's most buzzed-about movies [2].
