Timothée Chalamet in Beautiful Boy Is Already Making Everyone Weep, and the Audacity!

We knew this wasn't going to be easy. When it was first announced that Steve Carell and Timothée Chalamet would be starring in the Beautiful Boy film adaptation about a father weathering his son's drug addiction, we braced ourselves for the emotional journey. With the recent release of the full-length trailer, however, we're realizing that we might have needed some more time to prepare.

In his first big role since his Call Me by Your Name success, Chalamet seems to deliver a heartbreaking role that is already receiving Oscar buzz. The same goes for Carell, who was nominated for best actor in 2014 for his role in Foxcatcher. Beautiful Boy will hit theaters on Oct. 12, 2018. In the meantime, watch, or rewatch, the tear-duct-inundating trailer and commiserate with others who are also going through the damn thing after watching it.
