We love Veep, so it was hard to be mad when it won award after award at the Emmys on Sunday. Having said that, it was up against Parks and Recreation, which was in the running for outstanding comedy series and lead actress (Amy Poehler) in its final season. It was Poehler's sixth year as a nominee, and Retta and Aubrey Plaza were noticeably cranky when Veep stole their beloved costar's thunder. Retta shared this picture, illustrating all of our feelings about Parks and Recreation going home empty-handed.
