Alejandro González Iñárritu has been all over the award circuit for his Oscar-nominated film Birdman [1], but he's also busy with a very interesting new project: The Revenant. Leonardo DiCaprio [2] stars as Hugh Glass, a 19th-century fur trapper who is mauled by a bear and left for dead by his fellow frontiersman. Entertainment Weekly has the first images [3] of the film, which Iñárritu is shooting in remote locations using only natural light. The movie, based on a true story, costars Tom Hardy, Will Poulter, and Domhnall Gleeson and is set to open on Christmas Day. Take a look below!
