The first thing you need to know about Deadpool is that he's probably Marvel's crudest antihero. Once you understand that, you might not be as shocked by the picture Ryan Reynolds posted on Sunday. Reynolds, who is playing the character in the upcoming Deadpool [1] movie, shared a picture of his alter ego holding a newborn [2] with the caption: "A motherf*cker since 1991. #happymamasday" The year refers to the first time the character appeared in the pages of a comic called The New Mutants. Though the movie won't be out until February 2016, Reynolds has already promoted it with a video on April Fools' Day [3], and the set pictures [4] look amazing.
