Saturday Night Live [1] paid tribute to a number of iconic characters on its 40th anniversary special, and "Weekend Update" totally owned the stage. Emma Stone [2] played Roseannadanna, the character originated by Gilda Radner, Edward Norton [3] played Stefon (to perfection), and Melissa McCarthy stood in for the late Chris Farley as Matt Foley, his famously angry character. Did I mention Tina Fey [4], Amy Poehler [5], and Jane Curtin were staffing the desk? Don't worry — Seth Meyers made an appearance, too.
