Song of the Day: Explosions in the Sky, "So Long, Lonesome"

UPDATE: Sadly, the MP3 for "So Long, Lonesome" no longer seems to be working on our site, but you can listen to it here.

The new album from Texas quartet Explosions in the Sky won't come out until February, but the record is already sparking excitement among the indie-rock cognoscenti. The gentle noise-pop will appeal to fans of Slowdive or the Secret Machines, and this early track is a perfectly glistening winter tune.
