When the title of Star Wars: Episode VIII [1] was revealed to be The Last Jedi in January [2], we were so consumed with figuring out who this mysterious Jedi is [3] that many of us didn't stop and consider the obvious: Jedi can be plural. Disney has started releasing title treatments for the upcoming film in other languages, and we can now clearly see that in this case, The Last Jedi refers to multiple people. It could be two, it could be thousands. Take a look at two of the latest posters:
