Jon Stewart [1]'s reign over The Daily Show came to a tearful end Thursday night, as he gave his last, fantastic monologue [2]. The finale was star-studded, but the guest who packed the most emotional punch was Stephen Colbert [3], who started out as a correspondent for Stewart before presiding over his own show. Colbert, who is taking over The Late Show this September, was scheduled for a bit with Stewart, but Stewart didn't expect him to call off the commercial break and launch into a touching speech.
