The Sun Is Also a Star Trailer: Yara Shahidi and Charles Melton Fall in Love Against All Odds

Could you fall in love over the course of a single day? Upon first glance, that's the premise of The Sun Is Also a Star, in which college-bound hopeless romantic Daniel (Riverdale's Charles Melton) attempts to convince matter-of-fact Natasha (Grown-ish's Yara Shahidi) that he can make her fall head over heels for him in just 24 magical hours. But there's a catch, just as there's far more to this YA adaptation of Nicola Yoon's novel than initially meets the eye.

Natasha has been fiercely fighting against her family's sudden deportation back to Jamaica, so a future with Daniel seems not only unlikely, but flat out impossible. Despite their unfortunate situation, the star-crossed pair can't help but deny the sparks flying between them on what might be Natasha's last day in America. Regardless of if they figure out a way to stay together or not, we can already tell this movie is going to make us weep. (Buckets.)
