TV Tonight: Phenomenon

Saying NBC has put a bit of effort into promoting Phenomenon would be like saying Pushing Daisies is "a bit cute" or Dr. House is "a bit cranky." I'm hoping that the show's premiere tonight means my viewing of other NBC shows will no longer be interrupted by a Phenomenon ad covering up the bottom quarter of the screen.

The show, hosted by Uri Geller and Criss Angel, is essentially a cross between a magic show and American Idol. Do people at home really care about picking "the next great mentalist"? On the other hand, some of the magical, mystical tricks Phenomenon has promised probably look pretty cool. To watch a preview for the show and let me know if you'll be tuning in, just

I've seen commercials but it doesn't really peak my interest all that much...
