Is Tara Dead on True Blood? [Video]

True Blood's Rutina Wesley Says Tara Will Definitely "Be Around" Next Season!

We were shocked when Tara was shot and appeared to be dead in the True Blood season four finale, but we may have jumped to conclusions a little too quickly. We caught up with Rutina Wesley at Fashion Week, and she assured us that Tara would definitely be back next season — in some form. Though she doesn't know if Tara will be revived or return as a ghost, Wesley is excited and terrified about what's to come. Watch!

I am SO HAPPY just to know that Tara WILL be on the next season of True Blood. I don't really care if Tara is human or nonhuman, as long as she still has her personality and is on the show is all I care about. YAY!!!!!!! ☺☻!

I am happy to hear this because I felt like I was the only one thinking that she was going to live. I am thinking Bill or Eric will come and help save her or that fairy that is somewhere around there and will scoop in and rescue her. I noticed she was very careful with saying that she would like to stay human but you never know she could be something else...she mentions the obvious ghost but we already have that with Jesus. I think if she isn't human or dead then she will become a vampire and have to deal with everything she has always hated. I think Eric will be her maker since they have such a hate for each other in the past, and lets face it Sookie needs a vampire in her life and without Bill or Eric it can be Tara :) We shall see................
