Timeless Teases the Time Team's "Final Mission" in the Epic Trailer For the 2-Hour Movie

Buckle up, clockblockers, because Timeless is returning to your screens very soon. After getting canceled for a second time in June, the time-traveling series will be back for a two-hour finale on NBC in December. Not only will the movie wrap up any additional storylines (including the huge season two finale cliffhanger), but it also already sounds like one heck of an adventure. The Cast

Abigail Spencer (Lucy), Matt Lanter (Wyatt), Malcolm Barrett (Rufus), Goran Visnjic (Garcia Flynn), Paterson Joseph (Connor), Sakina Jaffrey (Agent Christopher), and Claudia Doumit (Jiya) are all expected to return. Annie Wersching and Tonya Glanz will also reprise their roles as Rittenhouse members Emma and Jessica, respectively.

According to a press release, the two-hour movie will be "an epic, unforgettable thrill ride through the past, present and future, with a healthy dose of Christmas spirit." While the show hasn't disclosed where they are heading this time around, the story will be "spread across three centuries and two continents" and "will test Lucy, Wyatt and the entire Time Team like never before as they try to #SaveRufus, preserve history and put a stop to Rittenhouse once and for all."

The First Poster

On Nov. 13, the Timeless Writers Twitter account gave a glimpse of the poster for the movie. In addition to featuring holiday decorations, it also included a few Easter eggs throughout, including the fandom's name #Clockblockers written on the clock.
