Band t-shirts, cryptic AIM profile lyrics, being front row at the punk show (and first into the mosh pit), and so, so much angst — those are the things that describe the core of my being in the early 2000s, when I became a teenager and started loving music. The '00s were so good to me musically, and though I have expanded my tastes since then, there are a number of pop-punk hits that are still constantly on rotation in my music library. Old habits die hard . . .
To join me on a journey back into the 2000s — aka the best music decade ever — check out this ultimate pop-punk playlist. You're going to feel nostalgic as hell and maybe even a little angsty.
