By now we're used to hearing different wacky permutations of Johnny Depp's voice, but I believe this is the first time we've heard it coming from an adorable animated lizard. He's voicing the title character in Rango, who is a strange chameleon in a strange land who's having some trouble blending in the scary desert.
Depp's Pirates of the Caribbean director Gore Verbinski is behind this movie, which also features the voices of Abigail Breslin, Timothy Olyphant, Isla Fisher, and Bill Nighy. Of course, the big draw is listening to Depp freak out about the birds of prey who want to eat him. Watch the cute preview when you read more.
