Vampires Suck Spoofs Twilight: What Are Your Own Gripes About the Saga?

Twilight spoofs are hardly new in Hollywood — Taylor Swift did her best Bella on SNL and the Jersey Shore kids had Friggin' Twilight — and now, we're getting a movie-sized edition. Vampires Suck is basically the next film in line with Scary Movie, Epic Movie, Date Movie, etc., using Bella, Jacob, and the Cullens for mock-worthy material.

Though there's no hiding the unmistakable Twilight fever across the PopSugar Network and beyond, I know that there are tons of you out there who are just not that into the craze. Whether or not you want to celebrate your feelings with a viewing of Vampires Suck, I thought I'd give you all a chance to vent about the ever-present vampires — even though they aren't going away anytime soon. So anti-Twilights, now is your time: share all of your gripes about anything and everything Twilight-related!

I'm a twilight fan and I thought this def has some funny parts. I think movies in general should be happy when writers decide to spoof their films, I think that only means the original film is making enough of an impact even beyond their target audience.

More vampires, damn! I´ve had enough! I mean I love true blood and like twilight and vampire diaries, BUT ENOUGH IS ENOUGH!

Ever since Hot Shots and Space Balls, I've pretty much always liked spoof versions better than the originals. I don't really have any particular gripes with Twilight aside from the fact that vampire movies should have actual vampires in them but it's a pretty maudlin angsty series that takes itself way too seriously so it's perfect fodder for this kind of thing. I'd be more inclined to pay to see this than the Breaking Dawn films tbh.

In general, I don't enjoy spoof movies, but I did think Taylor Swift's SNL spoof was hilarious! I do think the vampire craze has gotten a bit annoying. I enjoy the Vampire Diaries and Twilight (although in the latter case I still think the books are far better than the movies), but I'm not interested in all things vampire and I really don't need to see vampires every time I turn around.

I think these spoof movies are formulaic and not very funny. That said, I like to make fun of Twilight now that I've seen the movies. They're kinda cheesy and fun when you don't take them too seriously. :)

i forgot to mention that is just isn't healthy to be completely obsessed with your boyfriend....even if he does sparkle.

i agree w/ fleurfairy....i absolutely cannot stand how dependent bella is w/ edward and jacob. yes, its young love, but damn girl...the world would still go on if they were not in your life! as far as the Twilight movies go, they have so much potential to be better and yet they are the cheesiest movies ever made (dialogue and make up included).

I do love Twilight, but it isn't without its flaws. I think Bella was too dependant on men. I mean get a backbone, girl. I also wished that she had actually ended up with Jacob in Breaking Dawn. Not THAT would have been unpredictable and made for a better story. (I like to pretend the mutant baby never existed)

Ugh... I wish these movies would just go away! They're not good at all, and the acting is just horrible. I guess thats part of the entertainment, but I just don't get it. the first Scary Movie was okay, but it seemed to be spoofing the entire genre, now they're just basically only remaking a movie, and not spoofing an entire genre like they originally meant to.

ok, I'll admit that there are a couple of things in the trailer that made me laugh :D and no, I'm not "Anti-Twilight".
