There are no words to console you after Sunday's brutal season seven premiere of The Walking Dead [1]. The writers deliver not one, but two crucial deaths. Negan makes a devastating impact on the group, first killing Abe, then turning Lucille to Glenn. He bashes both their brains into mush [2]; it may even be the goriest episode of the show ever. We certainly haven't seen an eyeball pop out like that before, but hey, at least it's true to the comics [3]. (Silver lining?)
