Distract Yourself Until The Walking Dead's Return by Actually Living It

Has there been a walker-shaped hole in your heart since The Walking Dead [1]'s traumatizing, unsatisfying, oh-so-emotional season finale [2]? Well, the show's creators are about to make up for it with their latest venture: an immersive TWD experience at Universal Studios Hollywood. The attraction, which the Universal website describes [3] as a "a fully immersive journey" that lets visitors "battle [their] way through nightmarish iconic landscapes," will be open year-round starting on July 4.

Created with loving, gruesome detail by TWD's executive producer and director Greg Nicotero, the attraction looks every bit as terrifying as the show itself. Complete with some of the series' most horrifying zombies and locations that will chill you to the bone, The Walking Dead [4] Attraction seems like it'll be the perfect way to stay distracted until the show returns to our screens in October. Give the video about the making of the experience a watch, and be warned: this is not a kid-friendly theme park ride. (Unless, of course, your kids are named Carl and Judith.)
