Orphaned by supernatural tragedies, these young women are taken under the wing of Sheriff Jody Mills. They are trained on how to be ghost (and ghoul and demon) hunters, but while doing so, they find a family and close-knit group of friends. But who are these fearless females? Yadira Guevara-Prip as Kaia Nieves

• The actress: Guevara-Prip is new on the scene, but you might recognize her from her role in the television series Mad Dogs.

Clark Backo as Patience Turner

• The actress: You might recognize this actress from her recurring roles in Letterkenny, Designated Survivor, and 21 Thunder. She was also in the movie Sadie's Last Days on Earth and appeared on The Girlfriend Experience.
• The character: Patience is a psychic and the granddaughter of the famous and talented psychic Missouri Moseley. Guess it runs in the family?

Briana Buckmaster as Sheriff Donna Hanscum

• The actress: You know Buckmaster because she was in Arrow, Continuum, and Devil in the Dark.
• The character: She is the sheriff in Stillwater, MN, and often the partner in crime to Sheriff Jody.

Kathryn Newton as Claire Novak

• The actress: Boasting quite an impressive résumé, Newton has had roles in some recent award-winning productions, like Big Little Lies, Lady Bird, and Three Billboards Outside Ebbing, Missouri.
• The character: Claire is the first werewolf ever to be cured, along with being the daughter of Jimmy, Castiel's vessel.

Katherine Ramdeen as Alex Jones

• The actress: You might have seen Ramdeen in movies like The Tall Man and Babyshower or in the television series The Super Alliance.
• The character: Alex was kidnapped and used as both a blood slave and a lure before running off out of guilt and receiving the vampire cure.

Kim Rhodes as Sheriff Jody Mills

• The actress: You're bound to recognize this actress from her most well-known role: Carey Martin in The Suite Life of Zack and Cody. She has also snagged roles in Colony, Cyrus, and Switched at Birth.
• The character: The sheriff in Sioux Falls, SD, Jody sometimes aids the Winchesters in solving their cases. She adopted Alex and Claire before bringing this family together in the spinoff series.
