What's Your Favorite DVD Special Feature?

What's Your Favorite DVD Special Feature?

These days, it seems almost unfathomable that anyone would release a TV series or movie on DVD without packing the discs full of special features. From commentary tracks to blooper reels, the DVDs seem like little gifts for fans who really want to go behind the scenes.

Personally, I just can't say no to a good gag reel. How about you? When you buy DVDs, which of the special features are your favorites?

Deleted scenes bore me, thats y they are deleted, unless they were from a really mmmmazin' movie, and bloober reels are the greatest, it shows them mesing up and then laughing about it, its fun!! and idk if its Keira or Johnny in an interview bring it on

The only extra I watch is the blooper reel.

I'm only interested in hitting play. Who cares about the extra stuff.

It was hard to decide between bloopers and commentaries. I do love bloopers. However, I like intelligent commentaries, specifically by the director. Actors are rarely interesting and always sound drunk.

I LOVE LOVE LOVE blooper scenes. But I like the commentaries too. I totally hate the alternate ending though. I also really like 'making of' documentaries.

Deleted, then blooper. We watched the deleted scenes from the Jericho series finale last night, and they were effing hilarious. The scenes when Skeet was flying a plane to Texas for asylum had actual hand drawings that said "Picture of Radar Here," and the other pilots were just pretending to fly with a green screen background, or floating around in a fake cockpit. It was so rough, I can't believe they included it!

I love blooper reels and audio commentaries, depending on who is providing the commentary. I'm less likely to listen to the commentaries if none of the actors participate.

I think every movie should have blooper reels. Even the really serious ones. I just love bloopers.

Blooper reels. Then deleted scenes. I usually watch, or begin to watch, all of the extra features!

Now that someone mentioned, I forgot that I like director commentary too. I like knowing about all that goes into the thought process of the movie, even little things like why we see a predominance of certain colors in scenes. I also really like watching the interview footage of François Truffant on the Jules and Jim DVD.

Love the blooper reels and deleted scenes. If it's a movie based on a historical event, I like informational/documentary clips too. I never watch commentaries, making of, interview, etc.

ALL of them, I adore watching everything, and when there's a 2 disc special edition (of a movie I really like) I always buy it.

I chose deleted scenes but blooper reels are a close 2nd! I think its nice to see what got cut and if it would have made the movie better/funnier/worse and the blooper reels are great because you can see how the actors mess up and have fun on set :)

I'm torn between bloopers and directors' commentary. Both are the main reasons I buy DVDs and box sets! The best directors' commentaries are on SATC box set and all of the Christopher Guest films.

I like making ofs, even though I like extras in general. I just wish more of the DVDs I want actually had really good extras and better/more easter eggs. Only DVDs that don't interest me have the really good easter eggs.

Interviews, making of features AND blooper reels top my list. I like all three.
