Blake Lively [1] squares off against a hungry great white in The Shallows [2], but before things get ugly, the scenery is really, really beautiful. Lively's character, Nancy, has traveled to Mexico to find the elusive beach that she sees in a photograph of her late mother. She tells the local who drives her there that it's the beach where her mother found out she was pregnant with Nancy, and coincidentally, there's a chain of islands in the distance that sort of look like the profile of a pregnant woman — if you're drunk. He refuses to tell her the name of the beach, so we never find out where it is, but we do know where Lively filmed those beach scenes: Lord Howe Island in New South Wales, Australia. Photos of the orange-bikini-clad Lively on the set [3] surfaced in November of last year. While the beach, as Nancy knows it, is a mystical place, Instagram pictures from tourists give us a great look at the actual Lord Howe Island. Check it out!
