5 Characters Who May Be in Grave Danger on The Walking Dead

Mar 31 2016 - 5:00pm

We know, we know: you've heard more than enough about the season six finale of The Walking Dead [1]. And yet, given the fact that we're finally going to meet Negan [2], it's kind of all we can think about. Who will he kill? What will he be like? We'e already heard testimonies from the cast [3], and we've gotten plenty of information from the showrunner [4], but the questions remain. What fresh hell will Negan bring? We're giving you the five characters who have the most to worry about. Check them out below, then see the cute snaps of the cast hanging out in real life [5].

Glenn

Glenn is easily the top candidate as a potential victim [6] for Negan. Not only is he the one who loses his life in the comics [7], but the show has been hinting at it with polaroids of bashed-in heads, that awful faux death from last year, and more. Then again, many are arguing that all this is exactly why Glenn won't be the one to die. It's just too obvious.

Maggie

If Glenn's not going to be the one to bite it, Maggie's the next probable choice [8]. She's been in the forefront more than ever lately, taking on more responsibility in the group. Plus, there's a certain poignancy to the fact that she keeps putting herself in danger, despite all the opposition from other characters.

Abraham

In case you didn't know, Abraham was supposed to die [9] on the show, very recently in fact. It's not Denise who's supposed to take an arrow to the eye — it's him! Could his survival mean a grim fate in the near future? Absolutely. There's a chance the showrunners wanted to save him for Negan.

Carol

Is it just us, or is Carol seriously off her rocker lately? There are more than a few signs that Carol might be in for a grim fate [10] pretty soon. She seems shaken by everything she's done to get this far, so much so that she leaves Alexandria. Sounds like the perfect way to meet the business end of Negan's bat, if you ask us.

Daryl

Daryl has one thing working against him in The Walking Dead [11]'s universe: he doesn't actually exist in the comic books. What's more, Daryl has done the most damage when it comes to the Saviors — he blows up the first group with a rocket launcher, and is a big part of the Savior compound raid later in the season. One might say it's personal.
