Luke Bryan will sing the National Anthem at the Super Bowl! The country singer [1] and all-around heartthrob [2] shared the exciting news on Instagram on Sunday and told People [3], "Is the anthem challenging? Yes. Is it nerve-wracking? Yes. But I moved to Nashville to follow my dreams and singing the national anthem on that stage doesn't get any bigger."

Luke follows in the footsteps of other notable stars to have performed the "Star Spangled Banner" on the national stage including Alicia Keys, Jennifer Hudson, Carrie Underwood, and Lady Gaga. Lady Gaga will be back in front of the cameras to take on this year's halftime show [4].

Kickoff for the NFL Championship game between the New England Patriots and the Atlanta Falcons will take place at the NRG Stadium in Houston at 3:30 p.m. PT on Sunday, Feb.5.
