X-Men Days of Future Past Trailer

The Final X-Men Trailer Is Absolutely Electrifying

The final trailer for X-Men: Days of Future Past is here, uniting X-Men old and young as they fight a war against those seeking to conquer the mutants. The sequel finds old Professor X (Patrick Stewart) convincing Wolverine to head back to 1973 to help young Professor X (James McAvoy) and the rest of the retro crew stop the Sentinels — giant scary robots bent on destroying mutants. Previous trailers had given us a peek at Jennifer Lawrence reprising her role as Mystique, but here she is in all her shape-shifting glory. Halle Berry, Ellen Page, Anna Paquin, Nicholas Hoult, and Peter Dinklage (he's on the bad side) are all here. We even get a glimpse of Evan Peters as Quicksilver. Check it out:

All of the trailers so far have been so intense. It's not fun and games anymore; the X-Men are fighting in a war for their race. It's way creepy when Sir Patrick Stewart as Professor X looks at his younger self (McAvoy) and says, "You're afraid. I remember." They're the same person, and it's blowing my mind. X-Men: Days of Future Past opens May 23, and you can watch the first two trailers below.
