21 Shows Coming to Apple TV+ That Are Well Worth the Subscription Cost

Apple TV+ is set to debut on Nov. 1 with a library of brand-new original content. On its launch day, the new streaming service from Apple will already have several of its big-name series ready to go, including See with Jason Momoa, The Morning Show starring Reese Witherspoon, Steve Carell, and Jennifer Aniston, and Hailee Steinfeld as Dickinson. After that first drop of shows, though, there will continue to be a steady stream of new content, from original comedies to dramas and even some documentaries, and there's tons more content in development with some of the biggest names in Hollywood. Six hundred years in the future, humans are born blind and a large portion of the population has been wiped out by a mysterious virus. The show stars Aquaman's Jason Momoa as warrior Baba Voss and Alfre Woodard as the priestess Paris.

Who thinks "Emily Dickinson" and "comedy" together? Apparently, Apple TV+ does! The dark comedy, which stars Hailee Steinfeld as the famous poet and Jane Krakowski as her mother, is a coming-of-age comedy that explores societal constraints and gender through Dickinson's famous life and work.
