Ariana Grande [1] and Kid Cudi [2] are behind the collab we never knew we needed . . . until now! The full version of their new single, "Just Look Up," arrived on Dec. 3 and we haven't stopped playing it since. "We knew no bounds, but let this be the sound," Grande sings on the track. "Right against all odds but soon against ourselves." It's one of many tunes that appears on the soundtrack of Netflix's Don't Look Up, released on Dec. 10 along with the film in theaters.
The dark comedy movie, which hits Netflix on Dec. 24, features an incredible star-studded cast [3] — including Leonardo DiCaprio [4] and Jennifer Lawrence [5], as well as fun appearances from Grande, Cudi, Jonah Hill [6], and Timothée Chalamet [7]. As for the plot? Don't Look Up follows two astronomers [8] (played by DiCaprio and Lawrence) on a mission to warn the globe about a comet that may destroy Earth.
Grande and Cudi's characters are a satirized version of a superstar musician couple, and their antics are pretty convincing. Even their performance of the song in the movie is everything you'd expect from an over-the-top Hollywood duo.
