Ben Platt Spoofed a New "Quaran-Tunes" Album Commercial, and TBH, the Songs Kinda Slap

Ben Platt's guest-hosting stint on Jimmy Kimmel Live [1] was quite the glorious midweek treat. The actor and singer took over the late-night show on Wednesday, and during his monologue, he shared a hilarious commercial spoof for his second album, titled Quaran-Tunes.

Described as "the perfect soundtrack for 'the new normal,'" the made-up release features songs like "Poison," centered on his atrocious mask breath; "Zoom," an anthem dedicated to hating the video-chat platform; and "D.T.F.P," which boasts the fetal position as 2020's biggest dance craze. Other spot-on track titles include "Wiping Down the Mail," "Coffee Filter Toilet Paper," and "I Guess I'll Just Like... Get a Dog?," to name a few. Though the album is a total joke, there's no denying that the songs Platt teased are low-key bops.

Watch Platt's entire monologue above to hear a sampling of his Quaran-Tunes tracks, and then watch him interview Zendaya about Euphoria and her Emmy nomination [3] right after.
