Daphne Bridgerton [1] is back in action! On May 27, actress Phoebe Dynevor [2] was spotted in London as the Netflix show gears up for season two. Her on-set appearance comes shortly after Jonathan Bailey and Sex Education's Simone Ashley [3] filmed a scene as key love interests Sir Anthony and Kate Sharma. A few other newcomers to the show also made their debut, like Melissa Advani and Priya Kansara, who will play mother-daughter pair Lady and Miss Eaton.
This is the first time we've seen Dynevor step into Daphne's shoes since Regé-Jean Page announced he will not be returning [4] to the Shondaland series for season two. Bridgerton [5]'s next installment will shift focus from Daphne and Simon to Kate and Anthony's romance, based on Julia Quinn's novel [6] The Viscount Who Loved Me. We'll certainly miss the Duke of Hastings, but these behind-the-scenes pictures put us in the mood to read more of Lady Whistledown's musings. Season two can't come soon enough!
