Based on the YA novel [1] of the same name, Words on Bathroom Walls sheds light on mental health by telling the story of high school student Adam (Charlie Plummer [2]) as he learns to navigate senior year with a recently diagnosed mental illness. After transferring to a new school, he soon meets the outspoken, whip-smart Maya (Taylor Russell), and a new romance blossoms between the duo as Adam's relationship with Maya inspires him to open his heart and not feel defined by his illness.
