Nick Jonas's New Movie Makes Pledging a Fraternity Look Like Modern-Day Torture
If you read Goat, Brad Land's scathing memoir about his experience with the Greek system, you know what awaits you in the film adaptation. Everyone else should be warned that the trailer is extremely disturbing, and it doesn't even show you the worst of what happens in the movie, which debuted at Sundance. Nick Jonas stars in the film (in a part that's scary in a very different way than his Scream Queens role) as Brett, a fraternity member who convinces his younger brother (Ben Schnetzer) to pledge his house. Things get out of control, and it's pretty shocking — like the fact that James Franco pops up in this movie is the least shocking part of this whole thing. The movie will be out in theaters and On Demand on Sept. 23.
