Someone call Snoop Dogg, because Idina Menzel is out here singing up a storm of good vibes. As part of Houseparty's In the House weekend, the group video chat app hosted a dozen celebrities from Alicia Keys and John Legend to Snoop Dogg and Katy Perry. Idina Menzel also made an appearance in her family's treehouse to bless us with this heartwarming cover of "Tomorrow" from the classic musical Annie, and her a cappella skills are ridiculously good.
The song holds a particularly special place in Menzel's heart because it has been one of her favorite songs since she was a little girl. Menzel said she used to try to emulate Andrea McArdle, the original Broadway singer of the song, when she would perform it herself, but her singing instructor once advised her to "start trying to be like Idina" instead. The advice has since stuck with her, and it's definitely paid off.
