14 Times Jason Momoa's Shirtless Body Made Our Jaws Drop — in GIFs
The time has finally come, superhero fans — Aquaman is now out in theaters. The highly anticipated film stars none other than Jason Momoa, who has already made major waves in the titular role. While we're incredibly excited about Momoa shooting to heroic heights, the handsome (and insanely ripped) actor caught our eye long before he was retrieving tridents and fighting for his rightful place as ruler of Atlantis. Most fans first took note of him as the often-shirtless Khal Drogo in Game of Thrones, but the actor has been flaunting his figure on screen since Baywatch: Hawaii in 1999. Click through as we reminisce on some of Momoa's steamiest TV and film appearances, in GIFs.
Momoa first debuted his glorious body (we mean, body of work) almost 20 years ago on Baywatch: Hawaii.
His part required plenty of beach scenes, which we have no problem with.
You can see more of his Baywatch: Hawaii action here.
Flash forward to 2011 when Momoa (and his torso) made his HBO debut on Game of Thrones, as the basically always shirtless Drogo.
His intense gaze paired with that muscular chest wooed his Khaleesi — and just about everyone else, too.
We'll be the moon of your life, Khal Drogo.
Even at his most fierce and, frankly, terrifying, Drogo made our hearts stop and mouths drop.
Then GOT had the audacity to pair Momoa's pecs with an adorable child, surely putting plenty of us into cardiac arrest.
Despite there being many other shirtless characters on the show, Momoa's Drogo easily takes the cake — and our hearts.
Momoa's impressive bod then made the jump to the big screen as Aquaman in Justice League.
It's safe to say his pecs (and arms and abs and back . . . ) stole the show.
Then, just this past month, Momoa felt so much Drogo love that he and his abs reprised the role on SNL.
Seriously, who do we thank for this?
Momoa continued his SNL stay with, we kid you not, a skit featuring him as a stripping Christmas ghost.
Ripping off not only his robe, but also his pants, he had us in a sweat.
We're just going to leave this here.
