You might be familiar with John Legend [1]'s album A Legendary Christmas [2], but you'll see holiday songs in a whole new light after watching his latest appearance on The Tonight Show Starring Jimmy Fallon [3]. The 40-year-old singer channeled his "sexiest elf alive" alter ego [4] on Friday night and belted his way through dirty versions of old classics. Take "Rudolph the Well-Hung Reindeer," for example. Now, that's not a song you'd hear on the radio, but when Legend sings it, you almost forget it's not family-friendly.
Legend's holiday spoofs are a nod to both his recent "sexiest man alive" title [5] and the deluxe edition of his Christmas album, which he released earlier this month. Watch the full video above to see Fallon and Legend's funny takes on the familiar songs of the season. I kind of wish I had this album to play at my next white elephant party.
