The Cast of Kim's Convenience Close Up Shop With a Series of Goodbye Posts For the Finale

After five seasons and 65 episodes, Kim's Convenience has closed up shop. Originally renewed for a sixth season, the show announced in March that the fifth season would be its last, making the April 13 series finale all the more bittersweet. If you thought Kimbits, aka fans of the show, weren't ready to say goodbye to Appa, Umma, Janet, Jung, and more, wait until you see the tributes from Paul Sun-Hyung Lee, Jean Yoon, Andrea Bang, Simu Liu, and Andrew Phung.

Kim's Convenience wasn't just a comedy, it was one of a kind. It made us laugh, it made us cry, and the series finale wasn't the sendoff the brilliant cast and crew deserved. If you're not ready to let the Kim family go just yet, you can still look forward to the fifth season dropping on Netflix soon. Until then, get a look at the cast's goodbyes ahead.

Paul Sun-Hyung Lee

In honor of the show's series finale, Lee used his first-ever live stream to reflect on his 10-year journey of playing Appa on Kim's Convenience. Through the course of the nearly two-hour live stream, Lee discussed what the character and fans have meant to him along with the show's premature cancellation. "I don't want the legacy of Kim's Convenience, for me, to be tainted by that," he said in the video. "I want to celebrate what it is."
