After singing her take on Sublime's "Doin' Time," the 34-year-old singer blessed listeners with a haunting rendition of the Thank U, Next hit, and boy, did she nail it. Del Rey's soft, breathy voice combined with stirring background music to give Grande's pop song a wistful, almost otherworldly edge.

Shortly after the cover started making its rounds on social media, Grande tweeted her seal of approval, sharing a clip of Del Rey's stirring performance and writing, "oh my god @lanadelrey i love u so very very much." We stan legends supporting legends!

This sweet interaction comes just a few days before the two artists are set to release a collaborative single titled "Don't Call Me Angel," [5] from the Charlie's Angels soundtrack. The song, which also features Miley Cyrus, is scheduled to drop on Sept. 13, and it's safe to say we're counting down the minutes.
