Liam Payne Just Handed Jimmy Fallon His First Loss in the "Name That Song" Challenge

Until now, Jimmy Fallon has been undefeated at his "Name That Song" challenge, and Liam Payne can thank his One Direction days for delivering the host with his first loss. On Dec. 17, the 26-year-old singer appeared on The Tonight Show Starring Jimmy Fallon, where the two dabbled in Fallon's famous song-association game. Payne got off to a slow start, but once he got in a groove, it was over! The two guessed songs like Vanessa Carlton's "A Thousand Miles" and Camila Cabello and Shawn Mendes's "Señorita," but right when "What Makes You Beautiful" started playing, Payne took the lead.

While Taylor Swift struggled to recognize her own "Shake It Off" when she played the game in October and Miley Cyrus couldn't identify "Party in the USA" during her appearance, Payne wasted no time slamming the button to name his song from his boy-band days. "I'm glad I got that," he said with a deep breath at the end. Watch the fun video above, then see what Payne had to say during the late-night appearance about Post Malone sliding into his DMs.
