By now, you're probably aware that BBC and Hulu's adaptation of Sally Rooney's bestseller Normal People [1] is definitely worthy of your time. The Irish series has opened the door to conversations about first love and sexual consent [2] and has supplied some serious inspiration for what to wear on our next holiday [3] (whenever that may be).

Admittedly though, people are mainly just distracted by the actor who plays the male protagonist, Connell (Paul Mescal [4]); in fact, it's his thirst trap of a chain [5] that's really caused a stir. Over the weekend, Mescal posted a video on Instagram in which he's sitting at a keyboard and performing a soulful, stripped-back cover of Sia's hit song "Chandelier."
