It's official — Peter Weber is the new Bachelor [1]! ABC finally made the announcement on Tuesday night, but the 28-year-old pilot [2] actually found out a couple of weeks ago when he was at his parents' house. "I just lost my mind. I started going crazy," Peter recently said on The Ellen DeGeneres [3] Show. "I'm ready to immerse myself in this journey and come out with a fiancée at the end."

Weber previously competed for Hannah Brown's heart on The Bachelorette [4]. Even though he admitted that she broke his heart, seeing her on the "After the Final Rose" special helped him get closure and move on. "I'm always going to have amazing memories with Hannah. She means a ton to me," Weber said, adding, "I'm ready to move on and find my girl." Season 24 of The Bachelor [5] premieres on Jan. 6, 2020.
