18 of the Sexiest Shows on TV Right Now

With a title like The Affair, you know sex is pretty much guaranteed. Yes, it's a well-acted, rich character study about cause and effect, but it's also often softcore porn. It's not just the participants of said affair that are getting it on, either; there's a fairly explicit sexual scenario in just about every episode, sometimes with nudity (including one rare case of male full frontal!). In short: do not, under any circumstances, watch this show with your parents.

For a network TV show, Scandal is pretty steamy. Whether you're Team Fitz or Team Jake, Olivia Pope is the true winner here because she's always managing to have sexy encounters with one of these two hot guys. (And yes, Jake is pretty forward about his, um, abilities in the sack.)

Starz's adaptation of the Outlander book series really lives up to the chemistry its leads, Jamie and Claire, share in the book. With scorching hot Scot Sam Heughan and Caitriona Balfe as his time-traveling love, these two generate so much heat that the world is convinced they're a thing in real life.

It's a cruel, cruel world on Game of Thrones, but every once in a while, there's a bit of respite in a hot (and consensual) sex scene. They owe us some, with all that eye candy usually going to waste by killing them off.

Girls made a name for itself by portraying awkward, uncomfortable, and otherwise eyebrow-raising sex scenes in its several years on the air, but some would say that such is the real sex life of a 20-something. Watercooler chatter aside, you can't deny that the characters get into some steamy situations.

Abby (Lisa Edelstein) and her trio of friends showcase the sexy side of dating after divorce, and I do mean sexy. There's Tinder, gigolos, car sex, kitchen sex — you get the picture.

You're the Worst is branded as a romantic comedy (though it's a bit darker than say, The Mindy Project), so you may not expect it to be particularly sexy, but surprise! The main characters are pretty candid about their feelings about sex, and the show isn't shy about depicting their escapades — and pulling off quite a bit without being exceedingly graphic.

Netflix's Marvel series has strayed from the usual Marvel formula . . . which never contains sex. Title character Jessica Jones proves her divergence in several ways, and one of those is a healthy sexual appetite, which she shares with fellow gifted human Luke Cage. With great power comes great responsibility . . . to get it on.

Get past the sitcommy premise — 40-year-old Liza (Sutton Foster) is pretending to be a 26-year-old to get work in NYC — and you'll be rewarded with a ton of sexytime between Liza and her boyfriend Josh (Nico Tortorella). You'll end up hating Liza out of jealousy, but it's a small price to pay.

Grey's isn't breaking any new ground when it comes to sexy shows, but even after a full decade of episodes, you can still count on the doctors of Grey Sloan hooking up with each other in the on-call rooms on the regular.

Though there are clinical scenarios involving sex — this is a show about the studies of William Masters and Virginia Johnson, after all — the characters are also getting it on behind closed doors and becoming, yes, masters of sex.

If you feel like you can't handle all the blood, murder, and betrayal, take solace in the fact that pretty much the rest of the show is sex scenes.

Orange Is the New Black has always been upfront about the role of sex in a womens' prison and has never shied away from a graphic shower scene (or four).

One of TV's soapiest shows also has some of the raciest couplings, and everyone seems to be getting it on. Cookie (Taraji P. Henson) gets hers on the regular, Jamal (Jussie Smollett) is a boy magnet for obvious reasons, and Becky (Gabourey Sidibe) has her own game going on.

Much like fellow ABC shows Scandal and Grey's Anatomy, the network's FBI drama Quantico has a cast of characters who just can't help but rip each others' clothes off. Alex, Ryan, and the rest of the gang frequently make time for steamy shower sex, car sex, or even middle-of-the-woods sex. Guess it's time to sign up for the FBI, huh?

Everything about Reign is sexy: the abundance of beautiful people, the candle-lit chambers, the BDSM storylines that come out of left field. While the show's hottest resident, Francis, is now a thing of the past, there's always the supremely sexy Bash. It's on The CW, so nothing is too graphic, but you still shouldn't watch this with your parents.

The Americans has the distinction of portraying a little-seen position on TV, but that's not its only claim to fame. Not only do Keri Russell and Matthew Rhys have instense chemistry as a sham-couple-turned-real-couple, but their connection is also so strong that the actors ended up together, too.

HBO series have never shied away from sex, and Insecure is no different. Now that we're in season two, everyone is single, and yes, they are ready to mingle. Molly and Dro have a pretty explicit sex scene when they finally give in to their temptation, while Issa and Lawrence are both game to experience all that LA's fine singles have to offer.
