You Can Still Stream These Disney Movies on Netflix

There's nothing quite like spending a few hours curled up in front of a Disney movie. But if you subscribe to Netflix and not Disney+, you may think you're out of luck when the Disney-movie craving hits — because these days, it's rare to come across Disney movies on Netflix. Since the launch of Disney+ in late 2019, Disney has slowly plucked its movies and shows off other streaming services, and now most Disney movies, including the latest releases like "Doctor Strange in the Multiverse of Madness", live on Disney+. From what we've seen so far with blockbusters like "Encanto," new Disney releases make their streaming debuts on Disney+ too, no sooner than 30 to 45 days after hitting theaters. But there is a small niche of Disney on Netflix if you know where to look. We'll be frank: the Disney movies on Netflix may not be the classics that first pop into your head when you hear "Disney." But even so, they'll still satisfy that itch that only a Disney movie can scratch, without requiring you to subscribe to yet another streaming service. Here's exactly where to look to find the Disney movies on Netflix. Happy watching!

Disney Movies on Netflix

There are currently three Disney movies on Netflix. "Khoobsurat" is a Bollywood film about the unlikely love story between a dutiful prince named Vikram and a free-spirited physiotherapist, Mili, who gets hired to take care of Vikram's father. In classic Disney Princess style, the movie explores the budding, albeit improbable, romance between two people from different social backgrounds and upbringings.

The second film, "Any Body Can Dance 2," is a Disney movie that follows the journey of a disgraced dance troupe seeking to redeem themselves by winning the World Hip Hop Dance Championship after being falsely accused of cheating on a reality TV show.

The last Disney movie available on Netflix is an animated film titled "Arjun: The Warrior Prince," depicting the story of a legendary archer named Arjun.

As for Disney shows, most Disney Channel originals and new productions are available to stream on Disney+, but Netflix has a few as well. "Bunk'd" is a Disney Channel show and a spinoff of Disney's "Jessie," chronicling the adventures of three of the Ross siblings (Emma as played by Peyton List, Zuri as played by Skai Jackson, and Ravi as played by Karan Brar) as they navigate summers at the outdoorsy Camp Kikiwaka. The first five seasons are all available to stream on Netflix. "Sofia the First," a Disney Junior show, is also available on Netflix. It showcases the adventures of a young girl turned princess after her mother marries royalty. All four seasons are currently available to stream on Netflix.
