Dan + Shay, the well-known pop-country music duo, have taken the world by storm since 2012. Their first song ever written together was put on hold for Rascal Flatts, and the rest is history. While they were once openers for other country stars like Hunter Hayes and Blake Shelton, Dan + Shay have become stars in their own right, especially with their instant hit "10,000 Hours" with Justin Bieber after years of successful music. Among the numerous albums, some of the most tear-jerking lyrics and melodies were produced. I'm not the biggest fan of country music, and even I have a thing for Dan + Shay. Their music is heartfelt, grounded, and, more than anything, downright beautiful. For those who have yet to be graced by their angelic voices, here's a list of 10 of Dan + Shay's arguably best songs.
"Tequila" by Dan + Shay
This is definitely one of Dan + Shay's most-played songs, for good reason. The idea that the taste and feeling we endure when we drink alcohol (specifically tequila, in this case) reminds us of a past love is very relatable. So many of us have heard of drunk texting our exes, and this song just speaks to that phenomenon. Like I said, relatable.
"Speechless" by Dan + Shay
When I say I want this to be my wedding song, I mean it. Who wouldn't want to make their spouse speechless? This incredible song speaks from the heart and truly sums up what it feels like to be crazy in love.
"From the Ground Up" by Dan + Shay
As someone who is a sucker for soft ballads, this is my all-time favorite Dan + Shay song. It was a career milestone for the two artists, but more than that, it's a reflection on the beautiful love their grandparents shared. The beauty and strength in a long-term marriage is something I can only aspire to. For worse or for better.

For all the summertime loving vibes, this song is perfect. Picture this: you're young, beautiful, and at the beach with the love of your life. Like Dan + Shay said, it was everything you wanted it to be, just like this song!

The lyrics sum up how impossible it feels to not think about someone or something you love, especially when it's unrequited. This song definitely took its place on this list because of its masterfully written lyrics.

Before compiling this list, I had never actually heard this song. But I can faithfully say it is truly underrated. Not only is it an upbeat tune, but it's catchy, too! I promise you'll be humming this to yourself as soon as you hear it.

This is another perfectly orchestrated duet with a well-known and talented performer. I also adore the message: relationships should be about love at their very core, not about who's right or wrong. After all, we're all human and we make mistakes!
