Based on Patricia Highsmith's novel of the same name and directed by erotic-thriller aficionado Adrian Lyne, Deep Water stars real-life couple Ben Affleck and Ana de Armas as Vic and Melinda Van Allen, a husband-and-wife duo who've grown bored with their marriage and decide to spice things up with dangerous (and eventually deadly) mind games. What starts as Vic permitting Melinda to engage in affairs ends with several missing lovers and Vic as a prime suspect in their disappearances. Something tells us divorce might have been a better choice.

Considering Mothering Sunday's scriptwriter, Alice Birch, also adapted Normal People, this one is likely to be just as steamy.
