Post Malone's Best Songs Will Absolutely Have You Feeling Better Now

Aug 2 2022 - 4:10pm

Austin Richard Post — or, as you may know him, Post Malone [1] — is the rapper, singer, songwriter, and record producer we can't get enough of. After the release of his debut platinum single "White Iverson" in 2015, his unique voice landed him a spot on the charts everywhere. In the last few years, we've been blessed with some of Malone's best hits, from 2016's softer "I Fall Apart" to 2019's jam "Take What You Want" [2] to 2022's introspective "Euthanasia." He also has a knack for releasing incredible covers [3].

Malone released his fourth album, "Twelve Carat Toothache," in June after his first "Saturday Night Live" appearance [4]. The album became his fourth top-five album in the US, following "Stoney," "Beerbongs & Bentleys," and "Hollywood's Bleeding." He's collaborated with the likes of Doja Cat [5], Kehlani, Justin Bieber, The Weeknd, and many more. Adorably, he also recently became a dad [6] and got engaged to the mother of his daughter, though his fiancée's identity [7] remains unknown.

I don't know about you, but Post Malone's emotion-packed music will always be stuck in my head. After difficult consideration, I've compiled a list of 15 of Malone's best and most memorable songs thus far, in my opinion: singles, albums, covers, and all.

"Congratulations" by Post Malone feat. Quavo

Who doesn't love a literal congratulatory tune? We made it, let's celebrate that success. "Congratulations" is Post Malone [8] at his most elevated.

"White Iverson" by Post Malone

"White Iverson" kickstarted Post Malone [9]'s career. His debut single has all the elements that made him famous: a sultry, danceable beat; hedonistic yet slightly bittersweet lyrics; and killer vocals.

"Sunflower" by Post Malone and Swae Lee

This bop took over the world after its premiere in "Spider-Man: Into the Spider-Verse." [10] The upbeat theme of this song has me literally trying to jump from building to building, too.

"Psycho" by Post Malone feat. Ty Dolla $ign

We love a classic. If you're looking to relive the best parts of 2018, Post Malone [11]'s "Psycho" never fails to do the job.

"Rockstar" by Post Malone feat. 21 Savage

Let's be honest, Post Malone [12] is a rock star. "Rockstar" truly helped define the decade, changing how we view rappers and their music.

"Better Now" by Post Malone

Many fans still wonder if this song is autobiographical or not. Either way, Post Malone [13] wears his heart on his sleeve as he talks about his regrets in his past relationship. I think we all have someone we wish we hadn't let down.

"Circles" by Post Malone

Released on his 2020 album "Hollywood's Bleeding," "Circles" delves into the vicious cycle of an on-and-off relationship. Sometimes things aren't meant to work out, and it's best to let the past be the past.

"Saint-Tropez" by Post Malone

This might not be one of the most beautiful songs, but it's one of my personal favorites. Especially after hearing the joke that the song is "Post Malone [14] calling us poor for two minutes and 37 seconds." I mean, come on, that's hilarious.

"Feeling Whitney" by Post Malone

As one of Posty's all-time saddest songs, "Feeling Whitney" is also a beautiful piece of art. The lyrics, a heartbreaking meditation on losing the people around you thanks to fame, are perfect for getting in your feelings.

"I Fall Apart" by Post Malone

This is definitely my all-time favorite song from Post Malone [15]. If you can get through it without crying, I commend you. Post Malone's melancholic change of pace has me feeling all the feels.

"Goodbyes" ft. Young Thug by Post Malone

"Goodbyes" ft. Young Thug is incredibly catchy, but it's also a hard-hitting breakup song. It features a great solo from Young Thug as well as some of Post Malone [16]'s classic hooks, which never fail to hit where it hurts.

"Take What You Want" by Post Malone feat. Ozzy Osbourne and Travis Scott

As if Post Malone [17] couldn't get any better, we now have the addition of Ozzy Osbourne. The compelling lyrics in this song express the constant weakening of his self-esteem from a past relationship and the exploration of an abusive partner.

"Candy Paint" by Post Malone

Last but not least, this catchy tune from "Beerbongs & Bentleys" is definitely one of Post Malone [18]'s most underrated songs. Not to mention he claims he can literally do things your man cannot. Can't argue with that.

"Cooped Up" by Post Malone Feat. Roddy Ricch

This silky-smooth track off 2022's "Twelve Carat Toothache" shows how well Post Malone [19] blends chill vibes with danceable beats and a catchy hook. Heavy with reverb and lyrics about being desperate to get out and on the town, it's perfect for just about any part of a night out. Plus, it has an incredible bridge that brings the song home.

"Euthanasia" by Post Malone

As one of Post Malone [20]'s darker songs, this velvety track also features some of his best vocals. It's a nihilistic lamentation about giving into your demons — of course, in real life, Post Malone is ecstatic about his daughter [21] being born, so the song is clearly a bit hypothetical.
